Electric Island is Puerto del Carmen's go-to spot for live music in the heart of the Old Town, just steps from the harbour. Our resident three-piece band, The Semitones, takes the stage six nights a week (closed Sundays), running through rock, pop, Irish tunes and classics from the 60s through to today. Grab a seat by the band, head upstairs for a quieter view, or hit the dancefloor — the drinks are reasonably priced and the welcome is always warm.

Mark has been performing live music in Lanzarote for over 20 years, playing with bands including The Chancers and The Perfect Circus, plus a variety of solo gigs across the island. He's now a regular at Electric Island, playing drums and vocals with his current band, The Semitones, as part of the resident live music lineup.
Originally from Pontefract, West Yorkshire, Steve moved to Lanzarote in 2005 for a year out — and never went back. Like most musicians on the island, he's played in several local bars including O'Reilly's, The A.I.C. and Buddy's Bar back before it changed hands. He often picks up an acoustic guitar too, and isn't afraid to dabble on the electric.
Paul has been performing in Lanzarote for over 30 years, starting out at Rock Cafe in Centro Atlántico back in 1994. Since then he's played most of Puerto del Carmen's main live music venues — Charlie's Bar, Hard Rock Cafe and the American Indian Cafe — with bands including Chapter One, Highly Strung and Question. He's been part of The Semitones at Electric Island for 2 years now.

Doors open at 8pm, the band kicks off around 10pm for a full three-hour set.
